Calendar for planning
Web app
2021
Concept
PROBLEM
Seeing what is planned from day to day or week to week was cumbersome. Users needed to quickly, easily, and reliably find the posts that matter without the inherent complexities of UI elements required for navigation and information feedback. The goal was to make the calendar feel stateless.
SOLUTION
Users need to focus on what they are doing, not how they are doing it. By implementing vertical scrolling that autoloads content, the experience can become seamless as the user moves through weeks and months.

Firstup: the mobile app
Native iOS & Android app
2016 - 2019
3M+ downloads
PURPOSE
The Firstup app gives employees relevant, personalized information they need to do their best work by keeping them informed and connected. The app was essentially a newsreader, allowing users to subscribe to topics based on culture, events, company news, teams, etc. It also included widgets, profiles, commenting, and the ability to submit photos, videos, or articles. In addition, the app was white-labeled, allowing customers to bring the employees into the company's brand. During my time working on it, the app was downloaded over 3 million times.

Pulse on data
Web app
2019
Concept
PROBLEM
Data is hard to navigate. Finding actionable data is even more complicated and traditionally takes a team of data scientists. The goal was to make discovering meaningful data approachable.
SOLUTION
The solution has three components. ① Deliver data in a feed-like UI, allowing discovery to be as simple as scrolling. ② Subscribe to data topics to personalize the feed. ③ Use NLP to translate those data points into easily understandable, actionable data.
PURPOSE
This proof of concept was presented at the company’s yearly conference to generate excitement around the company's direction.

Great Investors’ Best Ideas Foundation
Website
2016
PROBLEM
Website for an annual investment event in honor of Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research
SOLUTION
It needed to feel high-end since attendees were investors, donating up to $100,000. So I took inspiration from art deco to create that luxury feel.
